Accounting Services
Accounts are the base for GST, income tax and any bank or partner request. We record sales, purchases and expenses so the books stay up to date — not a pile of bills at year end.
What accounting actually covers
Accounting is the day-to-day record of money in and money out. Sales bills, purchase bills, expenses, bank entries and GST ledgers all sit in one place.
Why it matters
- GST returns need sales and ITC that match the books
- The ITR needs a profit figure you can stand behind
- A bank asks for statements, not a folder of loose bills
- You can see if the shop is making money before March arrives
Books of account — the simple set
- Sales register / invoice list
- Purchase register
- Expense record
- Bank and cash book
- GST output and input ledgers
For many small firms this is enough. Companies and some firms need a fuller set.
Outsourced accounting
You send bills and bank statements on an agreed cycle. We record them, raise questions on missing papers, and send you a short monthly picture. You stay on the business. The books stay current.
Compilations
A compilation is a clean financial statement built from the records you give us. It is not a statutory audit. It is an organised view of profit, assets and dues that you can use for decisions and for filings.
Software we commonly set up
Tally Prime and Zoho Books are the two we use most. Chart of accounts, GST tax ledgers, invoice templates and bank mapping are set once so daily entry is straightforward.
What we do
- Day-to-day bookkeeping
- Monthly close and a simple MIS
- Books that are ready when GSTR-1, GSTR-3B or ITR is due
- Setup of Tally Prime or Zoho Books, if you need it
Papers usually needed
- Sales and purchase invoices
- Expense bills
- Bank statements
- GST portal access or returns already filed
- Opening balances, if books are starting mid-way
