Import Export Code (IEC)
IEC is the Import Export Code issued by DGFT. You need it to legally import or export goods from India. We handle the documents, the portal filing and delivery of the code.
What is IEC?
IEC is a lifetime business identification number used for customs and foreign-trade work. Without it, banks and customs will not process import or export consignments in the ordinary course.
Who needs IEC?
- A firm or individual who wants to import goods
- A firm or individual who wants to export goods
- Service exporters who need the code for banking or portal work
IEC is not a substitute for GST. Many importers and exporters need both.
What you get
Once approved, the IEC number is linked to your PAN. You use the same number on shipping bills, bills of entry and bank documents.
What we do
- Check PAN, firm papers and address details
- File the IEC application on the DGFT portal
- Follow the file until the code is issued
Papers usually needed
- PAN of the individual or entity
- Bank account details
- Address proof of the business
- Constitution papers — deed, COI or similar
- Aadhaar of the authorised person
Need this done? Message us on WhatsApp. We will list the papers, show you the fee, and start only after you say yes.
